Gen AI isn’t arriving in an equal world. It’s landing in one where women already face pay gaps, safety gaps, health gaps, and representation gaps. And now we’re handing more decisions to systems trained on yesterday’s data.

That shows up everywhere. In hiring tools that “rank” people. In healthcare and social care summaries that can downplay women’s needs. In online spaces where AI can amplify harassment. In jobs and task bundles that get automated first, often in the roles women rely on for flexibility.

But it’s not all bad news. AI can also open doors, improve access, and power breakthroughs in women’s health and support, if it’s built and governed properly.

For International Women’s Day, we’re bringing together a panel to explore the good, the bad, and the fixable in AI’s impact on women, and what we can do next.

What we’ll cover

The good: where AI is helping women right now (and why it’s working)

The bad: where bias and inequality get baked in, then scaled

The fixable: what teams can change in product, data, policy, and governance to reduce harm

Who it’s for

This session is for you if you’re:

  • building or buying AI-powered products and services
  • shaping policy, safeguarding, equity, or digital strategy
  • responsible for people, risk, or outcomes in your organisation
  • curious, cautious, hopeful, sceptical, or all of the above

(No prior AI expertise needed. If you’ve got questions, you’re in excellent company!)

Who’s on the panel

Hosted by Puff (3 Sided Cube) with a panel featuring Sophie (COO, 3 Sided Cube) plus voices from across gender equity, rights, and product-building.

(We’ll announce the full line-up soon.)
