Sustainable forest management:
Challenges and opportunities in ESG reporting
The forest sector lies at the heart of this transition to a sustainable economy, due to the ability of forests and forest products to capture and store carbon. Companies of all sizes and the forest value chain are pressured to adopt sustainable forest practices and report their efforts to regulators, shareholders and the greater public.
Diginex is hosting this session on the challenges and opportunities in ESG reporting for forest sector actors, in celebration of International Forest Day.
Our panelists will address:
- The role of the forest sector in helping realize the SDGs and supporting the transition to a net-zero economy
- Challenges and opportunities for the forest sector in sustainability reporting
- Leveraging technology to help align reporting against the SDGs and global reporting standards
