With so many medical advancements, it's hard to know what they all are, and what they all do. Join Dr Julija Gorodeckaja as she explains what they are, and when you would use them. Julija will also be on-hand to answer any questions you may have.

Julija graduated from Vilnius University Medical School in 2005, after which she was part of special missions to Afghanistan in 2007 and 2011.
Following her time in Afghanistan, Julija completed an internship and speciality training in obstetrics and gynaecology from Vilnius University in 2011, whilst also receiving her GMC licences on the specialist register.
She served as the Speciality Doctor at Whittington Hospital from 2012 to 2013, and joined the Baltic Medical Centre (London) in January, 2013 where she ran the outpatient gynaecology and early pregnancy scan service. Julija helped grow this centre into an international IVF satellite clinic that worked with seven countries by the end of 2015.
From 2015 to 2017, Julija did an MBA in International Healthcare Management, with her thesis focusing on patient centred care in the private IVF sector in the UK. Whilst working on her MBA, Julija joined the London Women’s Clinic in 2016 as a clinical research fellow, progressing to the role of Consultant in Reproductive Medicine.
During her time working at the London Women’s Clinic, Julija developed a special interest in reproductive genomics and was part of the PGT clinical programme led by Professor Alan Handyside, Mr Michael Summers and Dr Christian Ottolini. Julija took over leadership of the programme from 2020 until 2021.
In November, 2021, Julija joined CARE Fertility as the Deputy Group Medical Director (South) before being promoted to Group Medical Director. In addition to her role as Group Medical Director, Julija currently serves as the lead for genomics at CARE Fertility.
