We have had 8 rounds of fertility treatments, which I openly share this through my social media platforms (3 ovulation inductions, 2 IUI's and 3 rounds of IVF ICSI). The first was a loss of pregnancy at 5.5 weeks, the 2nd, 3rd and 4th were failed treatment cycles and the 5th resulted in pregnancy that we sadly had to terminate for medical reasons (TFMR) at 13.5 weeks due to our baby girl, Willow, being diagnosed with Edwards Syndrome and a huge Cystic Hygroma on her head. We have since undergone 3 rounds of IVF, 2 of which resulted in no blastocyst embryos and the most recent ending in 2 blastocyst embryos, of which one came back PGT-A genetically normal. As we were preparing for our frozen embryo transfer (which was supposed to be at the end of March 2022) we had a spontaneous positive pregnancy test which thankfully resulted in a healthy full term pregnancy and our first living child. We are now preparing for our Frozen Embryo Transfer in the hope to bring home another health living sibling in 2024.
