Dr. Simon earned his bachelor’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis and his medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago. He completed an internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at The George Washington University Hospital and a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Harbor-University of California, Los Angeles Medical Center. He currently serves as a clinical professor of obstetrics and gynecology at The George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC.

In 2001, he co-authored the book “Restore Yourself: A Woman’s Guide to Reviving Her Sexual Desire and Passion for Life,” He is a past president of the Washington Gynecological Society, and the only physician to serve as President of both the North American Menopause Society (NAMS) and International Society for Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH).
