Tim Humphries
Tax Partner
Tim has 20 years’ experience in mixed tax roles. Having trained with a top 10 firm, once he qualified in 2006, he moved to a west-end firm specialising in Owner-Managed Businesses and international private clients.
Throughout his career to date, Tim has maintained a broad knowledge of tax to enable him to provide integrated holistic solutions to entrepreneurial tax issues. He also has a strong focus on international tax issues. Tim has worked with clients in a wide range of sectors such as property, technology, professional services as well as private clients.
Anand Chandarana
Corporate Tax Director
Anand Chandarana has a number of years of experience in mixed tax roles in the OMB sector, having qualified as CTA in 2009. He has previously worked at top-20 firms and a boutique West-End firm.
His mixed tax background enables him to see problems and solutions from both the corporate and personal tax side. Most recently, he has been working and advising on employee share incentivisation schemes such as EMI, CSOP and growth shares.
He has also advised a number of entrepreneurs and High Net Worth individuals about their personal tax matters and planning as well as on non-dom and residency matters.
Recent experience includes: • Setting up EMI schemes for UK subsidiaries of overseas parent companies. • Advice on MBOs. • EIS and SEIS advice to companies. • Trust planning. • Property planning.
Philip Bird
Corporate Finance Partner
Philip Bird is a Partner in the London team and has over 25 years experience in corporate finance, principally providing mergers and acquisitions and fund raising advice.
He has worked with major multinational organisations and privately held businesses, including private equity firms and management teams.
Prior to joining RPGCC Philip was a Partner at CBW LLP and BDO LLP. He has particular experience and expertise in the transport and logistics sector and leads the firms services to this sector
