Fritz-Ulli Pieper, LL.M.
Salary Partner, Taylor Wessing
Fritz-Ulli Pieper, LL.M, is a lawyer and certified specialist for IT law. He advises national and international clients on IT, telecommunications and data protection law. He has particular experience in legal issues relating to digital regulation and artificial intelligence.
His main areas of practice include the design of IT contracts and general terms and conditions, as well as providing support for complex data protection projects. Moreover, he advises telecommunications providers or their contractual partners on infrastructure projects and product launches. He also advises the public sector on large-scale IT and infrastructure projects, in particular the Federal Ministry of the Interior and Community and its downstream divisions. Due to his early involvement with the topic of ‘artificial intelligence and law’, he has supported numerous AI projects, including on issues of AI governance, AI regulation and at the interface of AI and data protection law.
Fritz-Ulli Pieper regularly gives lectures and is the author of numerous specialist publications. He was also the senior editor of a major internet portal on ‘Law of the Information Society’ for a decade.
