After working in software companies for over 10 years, Michael began learning how difficult it can be for students to connect with off-campus mental health providers and co-founded ThrivingCampus in 2018. Michael lives in San Diego with his wife, son, and Australian Shepherd and does not miss digging his car out of the snow every other week in Boston.
Courtney Nugent
Care Manager at Tufts University
Courtney Nugent (she/her) is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and currently serves as a Staff Clinician and Care Manager at Tufts University's Counseling and Mental Health Service. During her three years of working in college mental health, Courtney has developed a particular interest in empowering students to connect with long-term mental health supports that feel safe, supportive, and aligned with their goals and values.
