Charles Rogel
Chief Consulting Officer @ DecisionWise
Charles Rogel is the Chief Consulting Officer at DecisionWise and leads a team of consultants and coaches who deliver services to clients. He joined DecisionWise in 2004 and regularly coaches leaders and works with organizations to improve employee engagement and performance.
Charles has an extensive background in sales, marketing, and consulting. Prior to DecisionWise, he worked for over 10 years in sales and marketing roles at various software companies, including Modus Media International, Parlant Technology (ParentLink), and Plato Learning.
He leverages his unique background in both organization development and marketing to provide leadership coaching, employee engagement survey analysis, and organization change initiatives. As an expert in employee engagement and 360-degree feedback, Charles has worked with organizations in over 30 countries.
Charles holds an M.B.A, as well as a B.A. in Humanities from Brigham Young University.
Skylar de Jong
I/O Consultant @ DecisionWise
Skylar is an experienced consultant & executive coach who focuses on helping individuals reach new heights. In his 360 debrief coaching he focuses on helping participants maximize the experience by finding value & insights, creating focus areas, & setting actionable goals.
Skylar comes to DecisionWise with a diverse background in business, consulting, and law. Prior to joining DecisionWise, he worked in tech as Corporate Compliance Counsel at OnRamp Systems, a Silicon Valley startup. It was there he decided to focus on Leadership Development & Consulting leading him to go back and get his MBA, emphasizing in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources. After which he spent time at Proctor & Gamble as a HR Business Partner leading recruiting, leadership development and employee engagement before joining DecisionWise.
Skylar holds a J.D. from The Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law & an M.B.A. from Brigham Young University. His studies emphasized in Leadership Development, Org. Behavior, Negotiations, & Strategic HR.
Thomas Olsen
I/O Consultant @ DecisionWise
Thomas Olsen is a Consultant at DecisionWise. He is responsible for helping individuals, teams, and organizations see and move toward their potential. Prior to joining DecisionWise, Thomas worked in supply chain and finance. He also spent time in the SaaS industry selling and implementing 360 assessments and employee engagement solutions for Qualtrics. After his MBA, he worked as an HR Business Partner at Polaris Industries, leading change management projects and focusing on facilitating employee growth. Thomas received a Master of Business Administration degree from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University, specializing in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources. He also has an undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University in Strategy.
Tyler Cowley
I/O Consultant @ DecisionWise
Tyler is an experienced Industrial-Organizational Psychologist, educator, and consultant. With a strong academic background, Tyler holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University, and a Master's Degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Louisiana State University (LSU) where his studies focused on judgment and decision-making, personality traits related to leadership effectiveness, risk preferences in occupational settings, and the integration of artificial intelligence in organizational processes.
As an I/O Psychologist at DecisionWise, he leads the Data Analytics Department, consults with organizations on their employee engagement results, and coaches leaders within their roles. In academia, Tyler has served as an instructor and lecturer at LSU, teaching courses such as Introduction to Industrial and Organizational Psychology and Introduction to Psychology. He has also conducted workshops and guest lectures, sharing insights on assessment centers, effective performance reviews, and data-driven decision-making. Tyler has published and presented his research at numerous prestigious conferences, including the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) Annual Conference and the Society for Judgment and Decision Making Conference.
Tyler's consultancy and coaching practice leverages his academic rigor, practical experience, and passion for data-driven decision-making to help organizations achieve enhanced performance. He has collaborated with various organizations across sectors, including Procter & Gamble, Personnel Board of Jefferson County, and the National Center for Biomedical Research and Training, offering tailored solutions to complex organizational challenges.
Tyler is also an active contributor to science communication platforms such as I-O at Work, where he translates cutting-edge research into actionable insights for business leaders and HR professionals.
Tyler resides in Provo, Utah, and remains dedicated to helping individuals and organizations navigate their unique challenges, enhance their effectiveness, and achieve sustainable growth.
