Virgile spent 11 years working in HR, in organizations of various sizes and industries. During this time, he grew frustrated with irrelevant, outdated compensation market data and inadequate tooling to manage compensation. He tackled this issue by creating the compensation product he would have loved to have as an HR professional: Figures.

4 years and 1200 clients later, Figures is on its way to creating the leading collaborative compensation management solution for European companies.

Luke leads Personio's internal Reward team Team, responsible for the development and delivery of Personio's reward philosophy and strategy including base salary, commission plans, equity and employee benefits that make Personio one of Europe's top tech employers. Luke is passionate about the intersection of numbers, data and analytics with Personio culture and individual employee experience via reward. Prior to Personio, Luke has lead global reward at Booking.com and Adevinta, as well as EMEA benefits at Facebook and is a qualified actuary having spent the beginning of his career as an actuarial consultant. He was born and raised in Wisconsin in the US, but has since moved to Amsterdam for some years, where he loves the exposure to international culture and thinking.
