Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) Explained

About

Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) is a treatment used to relieve symptoms of the menopause. It replaces the female hormones that are at a lower level as you experience the menopause. Oestrogen and progesterone are female hormones that play important roles in a woman's body. It can be one of the most effective ways of managing menopause symptoms while transforming how you feel. Join us when we welcome Dr Naomi Potter to find out what HRT is, the risks and the benefits, what the different HRT preparations are, how you know if it's right for you, how long do you give it to work and should you review the way you take it and your dose?
