Dr. Alex Doig is a Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist specialising in CAMHS Tier 3 within the NHS in South West London, with expert insight into Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in teens.

In this session, we will discuss what ADHD looks like in teenagers, exploring its definition, common symptoms, and the diagnostic process. We will also discuss conditions that often co-occur with ADHD, available treatment options, and strategies to support your teen in managing their condition and moving forward positively.

Alex is a Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist in CAMHS.. He completed both his medical training and psychiatry training at UCL (including a post in homeless mental health) and finished his higher training in Child and Adolescent Mental Health at St Mary’s Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Scheme in London. In his current role, he also has responsibility as the Named Doctor for safeguarding children for the local borough’s mental health trust and is an active member of the Richmond and Kingston local safeguarding network. Alex is also a Trustee of Hounslow Youth Counselling Service, and supports various children’s mental health charities through talks and training.
