This session reveals how Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) appears in teenagers and effective therapies for overcoming intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions. Host Tara Dolby is joined by Clinical Psychologist Dr. Zöe Kindyis from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. Dr. Kindyis, who specialises in OCD, will discuss what OCD is, its signs and symptoms, and how parents and carers can support teenagers in treating and managing the condition.

Dr Zoe Kindynis is a Senior Clinical Psychologist who specialises in assessment and treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. In the NHS she works at the National and Specialist OCD, BDD and Related Disorders Service for Children and Young People. Alongside this, she is the Co-Founder of The Specialist OCD Clinic, where they provide the highest quality evidence-based care to adults and young people with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
