Often children and young people with autism face increased challenges in the teenage years which makes them much more anxious about school which can lead to Emotional Based School Avoidance (EBSA). We will talk to Child and Educational Psychologist, Mollie Higgins about the connection between autism and anxiety, which may lead to EBSA and what you can do to support your autistic teen.
