Let's All Talk Mental Health

Teenagers today are tired through early school starts, busy schedules, late-night screens, and brains that are biologically wired to fall asleep later. In this session, we’ll talk about how much sleep teens genuinely need and the signs that yours may not be getting enough. We’ll also discuss what a “sleep debt” really means, why teens accumulate it so quickly, and how neurodiversity can make sleep even more challenging. We’ll look at what happens when teens consistently miss out on rest, from mood and memory changes to academic struggles and we'll also spend some time sharing some practical steps that parents can take to support healthier sleep habits, even when life (and biology) seem to work against it.
