Teens today face more exposure to grief and loss due to the media, social media, and global events. In this session, Child Bereavement will explore how different types of loss—whether it’s a family member, friend, or public figure—affect a teen’s emotional response and grief process. We’ll discuss how grief can impact teens differently than adults, how to recognise changes in their behaviour, and how parents can best support them through this difficult time.
