Maja is a qualified Clinical Psychologist who co-founded The Good Sleep Clinic in 2019 - an organisation focused on offering effective treatment for Insomnia and other sleep difficulties using medical and psychological expertise. Maja has worked with sleep difficulties and other mental health problems in the NHS for nearly 20 years. She has undergone advanced training in a range of interventions such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT). Her experience spans across a wide range of child and adult mental health services, including previous roles as Principle Clinical Psychologist at Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital and Head of Psychological Therapies at the Queen Victoria NHS Foundation Hospital. Maja has extensive experience working with both children and adults and she now specialises exclusively in Sleep Difficulties and the mental health difficulties associated. She has worked in two regional NHS Sleep centres and has led teams of psychologists working with trauma, anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, eating disorders and self-harm.
