Helping Your Teen Deal with Bullying
10
8:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Bullying isn't always obvious and for teens, it can often be hidden behind “banter” or exclusion. In this session we will talk about bullying, self-blame and how bullying can affect teens emotionally and socially, both in person and online, and what parents can do to help, whether their child is opening up or not.
We’ll look at how to spot when ‘banter’ crosses the line, ways to support your teen in setting boundaries, and when and how to involve school staff in a way that keeps your teen on side. With practical tools and insights from real families, this session offers calm, realistic advice for a difficult subject.
